Welcome to Artplay Summer 2022! Greetings, tomorrow we will meet on zoom to do Artplay! Its been a few months since I have let myself play, I am looking forward to being together in the precious space of exploration and openness. So far summer here in Nova Scotia has been tranquil. The weather has been light and airy with alternating days of rain and sun but not too hot, just perfect. Everything is growing vigorously. The flowers come and go with the many shades of greens to accompany the pops of color here there. I am quite taken with the loveliness of this world its sparking my desires to capture and delight in the details. Please join me tomorrow for our 1st of six Artplay sessions at 6:30 pm Atlantic time. There are still spots available! Whatever supplies you have around... pen, paper, highlighters, magazines, glue or paints if you have them or clay if you like to sculpt! You could write, sing or dance! This is fun to do with your family too if you want to include them. Artplay is not an Art class. It's a sharing of making, side by side. Every session starts with a check in, a quiet contemplation (5 min), intention setting, making time and ending with show and tell. Playing is a healthy activity like exercise, so why not do it regularly? Children do it naturally and so can we, it’s part of our DNA. Lets relax into play!
